WHO ARE WE?
The Sendero Hacia la Luz Church (SHL) was born in the heart of God to serve the community through the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and…Transform lives.
We are a community made up primarily of families whowork together as united and organized teams to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19), bringing hope to people’s hearts by demonstrating the love of God through Jesus Christ.
and Restoration, following the example of our Eternal Father. We rely on people with a calling that inspires them to gratitude, obedience, and love for others—wonderful people who serve men, women, seniors, teenagers, and children. Regardless of their ethnic background, social status, or age, we welcome them with brotherly love. We guide them along the path of truth and righteousness and teach them principles of life, faith, and integrity based on the Word of the Lord and the Holy Scriptures, so that they may become good people and build strong families within the society in which they live.
Within the community as a whole, we are ambassadors of the Kingdom of Heaven, persevering as messengers and bearers of God’s voice, bringing light and hope wherever there is darkness and despair.
Who are we? More than a church, our community is a family. As a family, we work in love, in unity, and for the sake of unity, always seeking to build bonds of fellowship with those around us, with the sole purpose of establishing the Kingdom of Heaven in their homes through the Word of God and with the help of His Holy Spirit.
The hallmark of our ministry has always been to keep our eyes on the Lord Jesus, remaining steadfast in the faith and sound doctrine, and serving with excellence and wholehearted devotion.
VISION
To have a living, active Church, filled with love and the power of God, with a strong pool of capable and well-prepared servants and workers, equipped for every good work; making a difference and leading the Church to become the fastest-growing congregation, thereby maintaining an active leadership role in the city.
MISSION
To share the good news of salvation with all nations, establishing and strengthening them in their new journey; teaching them the beginning and the fulfillment of faith in the Lord Jesus, according to the Word of God, and making them effective instruments for fulfilling the Great Commission.
